Dairy Council of Florida Celebrates Breakfast Week at Bunnell Elementary

The Dairy Council of Florida showed up to Bunnell Elementary on September 25th to help celebrate “Breakfast Week.”  Over 80 second-graders were there to participate in the Dairy Council of Florida’s “Mini-Recharge” drills.

“Mini-Recharge” is a youth fitness event for children in grades 2-5.  The program is packed with action and loaded with fun, easy-to-execute activities designed to get kids on their feet, energized and fully recharged.  As an added bonus, youth learn basics in nutrition while warming up!  Together, balanced nutrition and physical activity  allow “Mini-Recharge” to help kids score a touchdown for health!

Merry Moo was on-site to play with the kids and treat the second-graders to a healthy snack; yogurt!
