Swiss Cheese Fondue with White Wine, Garlic and Herbs

Cooking Time: 8 minutes
Total Time: 23-25 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces Gruyere Cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 cloves garlic, halved
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill
  •  1 teaspoon fresh parsley

Directions:

  1. Rub the garlic on the bottom and sides of fondue pot, discard garlic
  2. Heat wine and cornstarch over medium heat
  3. Stir in the cheeses a handful at a time, stirring well to melt
  4. Stir in the herbs
  5. Transfer pot tableside and keep warm
  6. Serve with bread cubes, apples, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and other fresh vegetables for dipping
