From Football to Farming: Our FUTP 60 Ambassadors do Dairy

From calling plays and running routes to driving tractors and milking cows, our Fuel Up to Play 60 ambassadors each spent a day this off-season working in the trenches of a dairy farm. These football players were put to work as they learned what all goes into the delicious milk they enjoy every day.

For Jacksonville Jaguars safety Barry Church, that meant breaking out the bottle and feeding calves at Full Circle Dairy. Barry realized he could learn a thing or two about the calves nutrition program, as these babies will soon grow into 1,600 pound cows!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive lineman Ali Marpet got to drive a tractor at Nickerson Dairy, moving hay bales to feed the cows. He too was impressed by the amount cows eat, comparing his 6,000 calorie a day meal plan to the 50 pounds of feed a cow eats.

And down in South Florida at Milking R Dairy, Miami Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake went old-school, milking a cow by hand. Turns out he is a pro!
