Start Your Day the Parfait Way offers students a fun breakfast option in the morning before school. The pilot program by the Dairy Council of Florida and General Mills Foodservice is focused on increasing breakfast participation in schools by providing a healthy yogurt parfait (4oz) that is popular with students and is made with Yoplait® yogurt, fruit and cereal. Orange and Miami-Dade counties are the first school districts to execute the program in fall 2011.
Students and school food service staff will be eligible for various incentives as part of their participation in the program. For more information on how to get the program at your school, speak with your school food service staff.

As a result of some family issues, Elizabeth of Miami Springs Elementary did not have the necessary support to succeed in school and was held back.
As one of the iPad2® winners through the Start Your Day the Parfait Way promotion, her teacher and principal feel it will help motivate her to succeed. They plan on using it as a teaching aid and assigning her homework on it.
