Salad connoisseurs, save all the chopping and tearing for weekends and enjoy this salad in a glass when you have only minutes to spare. With just four ingredients, it takes just five minutes to blend together a full-flavored smoothie that’s healthful, too.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach leaves, torn
  • 1 cup milk (fat free, 2% or whole)
  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened mango chunks
  • 2 teaspoons ground flax seeds

Preparation

1. In blender container combine spinach, milk, mango, and flax seeds. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into 18- to 20-ounce glass. Serve immediately.

Yield: 2 cups; 1 serving; (1 serving = 2 cups)
