Fingall caps stellar career with Miss Basketball award

Choctawhatchee High School’s Nadia Fingall capped off an illustrious senior season, as Florida Dairy Farmers presented her with the 2016 Miss Basketball award.

Marianna dairy farmer Meghan Austin of Cindale Farms presented the award during an on-campus ceremony at Choctawhatchee, and later led a milk toast with Fingall and her teammates as hundreds of students looked on. 

Fingall, who has signed with Stanford University, averaged 18.3 points and 11.4 rebounds per game while leading  Choctawhatchee to a 26-6 record and a spot in the Class 6A Final Four.

Considered as one of the nation’s elite prep athletes, she was also named a McDonald’s All-American.
