Central Florida Athlete Stephanie Samedy Named Florida Dairy Farmers 2016 Miss Volleyball
Senior outside hitter Stephanie Samedy of East Ridge High School in Clermont has been selected as the 2016 Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Volleyball. Stephanie is the 25th recipient of the Miss Volleyball Award and becomes the first East Ridge High School athlete to win the most prestigious volleyball award in the state of Florida.
Earlier this year, Stephanie was also named the Florida Dairy Farmers Class 8A Player of the Year after posting 424 kills, 189 digs, 38 aces and 25 blocks with a .391 hitting percentage this season while leading East Ridge to the district title.

Stephanie will participate in the Under Armour All-American game in Columbus, Ohio on Friday and is a member of the U.S. Women’s Junior National Team.
She has signed to play college volleyball at the University of Minnesota, the 2nd ranked volleyball team in the nation.
