Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup of Florida milk
- 2 tbsp of cornstarch
- 1 dark chocolate tablet (at least 70%)
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 6 tbsp of sugar (we used low-calorie sweetener)
Preparation
- Brush the ramekins with softened butter and fridge them while everything is ready (remember they need to be oven resistant).
- Mix the cornstarch and the milk in a small pot until it boils, always stirring at medium temperature.
- As soon as it is ready, mix this combination with chocolate tablet, 2 egg yolks in a separate bowl.
- In another bowl, or in a stand mixer, combine 3 egg whites and the sugar creating the foam. Stir the foam to the chocolate mix and fill the ramekins.
- Place them in a preheated oven at 360 F for 20 minutes and enjoyed
- We served our souffle with vanilla ice cream and powdered sugar on top. Exquisite!
