Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup of Florida milk
  • 2 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1 dark chocolate tablet (at least 70%)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 6 tbsp of sugar (we used low-calorie sweetener)

Preparation

  1. Brush the ramekins with softened butter and fridge them while everything is ready (remember they need to be oven resistant).
  2. Mix the cornstarch and the milk in a small pot until it boils, always stirring at medium temperature.
  3. As soon as it is ready, mix this combination with chocolate tablet, 2 egg yolks in a separate bowl.
  4. In another bowl, or in a stand mixer, combine 3 egg whites and the sugar creating the foam. Stir the foam to the chocolate mix and fill the ramekins.
  5. Place them in a preheated oven at 360 F for 20 minutes and enjoyed
  6. We served our souffle with vanilla ice cream and powdered sugar on top. Exquisite!
