Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 5 cheese sticks (mozzarella)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Small wooden skewers (4”)
Preparation
- Mix the beef, salt and seasoning together in a bowl
- Slice the cheese sticks into ½ inch pieces
- Wrap beef around cheese, forming a golf ball sized ball
- Cook over medium high heat in a skillet with 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Cook until brown, turning occasionally
- Before serving, place skewer in each meatball.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping
