Ingredients
Tzatziki:
- 2 1⁄2 cups fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 mini cucumbers, grated and squeezed dry
- 2 garlic cloves, grated
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 sprigs fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
Pita Chips:
- 2 whole wheat pitas (makes 16 chips)
- Olive oil spray
- Salt (to taste)
Preparation
Tzatziki:
- Grate cucumbers and squeeze out excess moisture.
- Whisk together yogurt and milk until smooth.
- Stir in cucumbers, grated garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, and pepper.
- Taste and adjust: add more lemon, olive oil, or salt as needed.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate.
Pita Chips:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cut each pita into 8 triangles (for a total of 16 chips).
- Arrange chips in a single layer, spread out on a baking sheet.
- Spray both sides lightly with olive oil and season with salt and optional spices.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crisp and golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes and serve.
