Ingredients

Tzatziki:

  • 2 1⁄2 cups fat-free Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 mini cucumbers, grated and squeezed dry
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 sprigs fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Pita Chips:

  • 2 whole wheat pitas (makes 16 chips)
  • Olive oil spray
  • Salt (to taste)

Preparation

Tzatziki:

  1. Grate cucumbers and squeeze out excess moisture.
  2. Whisk together yogurt and milk until smooth.
  3. Stir in cucumbers, grated garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, and pepper.
  4. Taste and adjust: add more lemon, olive oil, or salt as needed.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate.

Pita Chips:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut each pita into 8 triangles (for a total of 16 chips).
  3. Arrange chips in a single layer, spread out on a baking sheet.
  4. Spray both sides lightly with olive oil and season with salt and optional spices.
  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crisp and golden.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes and serve.
