This scrumptious smoothie combines chilled milk infused with chocolate and coffee.
Ingredients
- 1/2 medium ripe banana, sliced
- 1 cup milk (fat free, 2%, or whole)
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar or honey
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee crystals
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
1. Lay banana slices in single layer on wax-paper-lined pan. Freeze for 30 minutes or until firm.
2. In blender container combine frozen banana slices, milk, cocoa powder, sugar, coffee crystals, and vanilla. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into 16- to 18-ounce glass. Serve immediately.
