Warm, cheesy Brazilian bites served with delicious dipping sauces for the ultimate game day snack.
Recipe inspired by Brazilian pão de queijo traditions.
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups tapioca flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a mini muffin pan or baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, combine milk, oil, and salt. Heat until warm but not boiling.
- Place tapioca flour in a large bowl and carefully pour in the warm milk mixture. Stir until combined.
- Let cool slightly, then mix in eggs, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese until a soft dough forms.
- Scoop small portions onto the prepared pan.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
