This Christmas Morning Quiche is a warm and savory holiday breakfast made with a flaky pie crust, fluffy eggs, sweet red and green bell peppers, diced onion, and melty Colby Jack cheese. Easy to prepare and festive in flavor, it’s perfect for Christmas brunch or any cozy winter morning.
Ingredients
- 1 pre made pie crust for 9” pie
- 6 eggs
- ¾ cup milk (whole or low fat)
- ¼ cup diced green bell pepper
- ¼ cup diced red bell pepper
- ¾ cup shredded Colby jack cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Carefully unroll pie crust and line a 9" deep dish pie pan
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and milk together
- Add the pepper, onion, cheese, salt and pepper
- Pour mixture into pie crust
- Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until center is set.
