Ingredients
Smoothie base:
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 cups of frozen acai
- 1/2 cups of frozen pitaya (dragon fruit)
- ½ cup mixed berries 9 (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries) frozen
- ½ banana
- 2 tablespoons vanilla flavored Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Optional Toppings and Ingredients:
- Any fruit like bananas and blueberries
- Almonds
- Granola
- Coconut flakes
- Almond or peanut butter
- Honey or maple syrup to sweeten
- Chia seeds
Preparation
- Using a high-powered blender, combine the milk, acai, pitaya, berries, banana, and yogurt.
- Serve in a bowl and add desired ingredients. Serve immediately.
- Enjoy!
Notes: You can omit the banana if you prefer less sugar and substitute with another tablespoon of Greek yogurt. You can also use unsweetened Greek yogurt and add your favorite sweetener. If the shake is too thick, add a little more milk but it is supposed to be thick to eat with a spoon.
