Guava Maria Cookie Ice Cream

Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 8–10 María cookies, roughly crushed
- ½ cup guava marmalade, plus more for topping
Preparation
- In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until thick and creamy.
- During the last few minutes of churning, add the crushed María cookies.
- Transfer half of the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and add spoonfuls of guava marmalade throughout.
- Add the remaining ice cream, more guava marmalade, and a few extra crushed María cookies.
- Gently swirl everything together, cover, and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Scoop and finish with extra María cookie crumbles and a little guava marmalade on top.
