Steak Tips in Buttery Herb Sauce over Noodles

Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 pound steak tips
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 onion, sliced thin
- 4 ounces baby Portobello mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh dill, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, or 1 clove minced fresh garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh pepper
Preparation
- In a saucepan, over medium high heat, sauté the onions and mushrooms in the butter until tender
- Add the steak and cook for 3-6 minutes, stirring frequently
- Remove the steak, and set aside
- Add the flour and stir to make a paste
- Slowly add in the milk and continue to cook until sauce thickens.
- Stir in the seasonings
- Salt to taste
To serve:
- Place steak tips on bed of buttered noodles
- Pour sauce over steak and noodles
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
