White Oak Dairy was established in 2002 by Jody and Joann Sullivan, Ryan and Ashley Sullivan, and Jared and Kelli Moseley. Beginning with approximately 100 cows, the dairy has grown over the past two decades to a milking herd of 1,600 cows. Agriculture has shaped not only the family’s livelihood but also the lives and futures of their children.

The dairy industry is a tough one, but its rewards are unlike any other. Years of farming have taught this family the value of hard work, resilience, and, most importantly, community. Dairy farming in Florida brings challenges of its own, with the climate being one of the greatest. However, when you have a community dedicated to supporting one another and achieving success, no mountain is too great to climb.

The dairy industry has marked the life of this farming family; however, what they are most proud of is the future that the industry has provided for the next generation. Jaley Moseley graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Agricultural Communications and is now attending U.F. Law. Kambry Moseley will begin at the University of Florida this fall as an Animal Science major. Both hope to one day give back to the community that has given so much to them. Brent Sullivan has begun working on the family farm and continues to learn new lessons each day. For Colton, Alyssa, Whitney, and Case, the future remains wide open, filled with endless opportunities.

One thing is certain: regardless of where this next generation of farm kids goes, the dairy industry has left a profound and lasting impact on each of their lives. The legacy of White Oak Dairy is more than the cows, the land, or the work—it is the values, relationships, and love for agriculture that will continue from one generation to the next.
