Ingredients

  • Sphere mold
  • Lime green candy melts
  • Hot cocoa mix
  • Marshmallows
  • Sprinkles
  • 1 cup milk

Preparation

  1. First you will need to melt the candy melts following directions on the package. Depending on how many you are making, start with half the bag. You can always melt more if needed. It is easier to melt using a double boiler on the stove top, but the microwave works too!
  2. Once the candy discs  are melted, spread them all around the mold, but not too thin or too thick. (Tip: Place them in the freezer for about 3 minute to speed up the hardening process)
  3. Take the mold out from the freezer and carefully pop out the chocolate halves. Fill one half of the sphere with the hot cocoa mix and marshmallows.
  4. Then it’s time to seal the two halves of the sphere. Heat up a plate in the microwave and place the half of the empty sphere open side down on the plate to warm up the seam then attach to the other half. Place back in the freezer to seal completely.
  5. Once the seam is sealed you can decorate! You can use leftover chocolate for the swirls or melt other colors of candy melts. Then add any toppings such as sprinkles.
  6. Heat a cup of milk on the stove top until it’s very HOT, but not boiling. Place your hot cocoa bomb in a mug and pour milk over the cocoa bomb and watch the magic happen! Enjoy!
